The 2nd Gyeongnam International Choir Festival will kick off on May 13th with the International Choir Forum and Seminar, followed by performances in Jinju on May 14th, Gimhae on May 15th, and Changwon on May 16th.

As with last year, this year's festival will be held across three regions in the province, making it a celebration for all residents of Gyeongnam.

In particular, with financial support from Gyeongnam Province and sponsorship from mid-sized companies such as Sinsung Delta Group, Bumhan Group, Korea Southern Power, and Shinsinsa, the festival will be presented as a free event so that many local residents can enjoy the performances.

On the 13th, the International Choir Forum will be held in the morning at the 3.15 Art Hall, followed by the International Choir Seminar in the afternoon. The opening performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. on May 14th at the Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Center in Jinju, with the second day's performance at 7:30 p.m. on May 15th at the Gimhae Culture Center in Gimhae. On the 16th, the closing performance will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the Grand Theater of the Seongsan Art Hall in Changwon, concluding the three-day World Choir Festival.

This 2nd Gyeongnam International Choir Festival will feature five world-class choirs: Belarmonia from the United States, Seisen Youth Choir from Japan, Mindanao State University Choir from the Philippines, Dux Stella Voce from Indonesia, and the Philharmonic Chamber Choir from Taiwan.

Domestically, five groups will present high-quality choral performances across three cities over three days: Gwangju City Choir, Yongin City Choir, Gimhae City Choir, Changwon City Boys and Girls Choir, and Jinju Chamber Choir.

Gu Jacheon, Chairman of the Gyeongnam International Choir Festival Organizing Committee, stated, "Following last year, we will do our utmost to make the second International Choir Festival a top-class choral event of distinction that all residents of Gyeongnam can enjoy together."
